Mooring

Plans

Free for one home. Always.

Mooring only charges a fee once you decide you need it. One family and one house runs on the free Jetty plan. Once several households are sharing the year between them, the bookings stack up and Marina is the plan that keeps up. There's no booking fee, no commission and no cut of what a guest pays you, because Mooring never handles the money.

Questions people ask

Does Mooring take a cut of what guests pay?
No. There is no booking fee and no commission, because Mooring never handles the payment. Guests see what they are expected to pay and settle it with you directly.
Do guests have to pay for an account?
No. Guests are never charged for anything. A plan belongs to whoever owns the home, and everyone they invite uses Mooring for free.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. You drop to the free plan and, if you are over its limits, you choose which home stays active. Your booking history is never hidden or removed.
Is my home listed anywhere?
No. There is no marketplace, no public profile and no search. The only way anyone reaches your home is an invitation from somebody who manages it.

If you are still working out whether a shared calendar is the problem, the guides go through it, and how it works walks through a stay from asked to confirmed.
